Description
The high performance downpipe is manufactured using high quality stainless steel. When connected to an Evolution Line system, it creates a complete system from downpipe to tailpipes that increases performance values as well as torque and power. Included is a sport catalytic converter. This performance upgrade requires no reprogramming for the 340i. This optional downpipe produces an enhanced sound that delivers pure racing emotion and fantastic feedback at high rpm, without unwanted drone and fit for daily use. This product does not meet the emission standards to be met in road use! After installing the Akrapovic downpipe in the M140i, ECU reprogramming is required to prevent possible warning signals from the check engine light. For the 340i this step is omitted. The downpipe is suitable for the following model years: 2016 - 2019 (M140i, 340i) and 2016 - 2020 (M240i, 440i).
