Personal communication & entertainment program from the cell phone can be experienced in the vehicle. In addition to fast charging of the cell phone, the snap-in adapter ensures safe and stable storage. Inductive coupling of the external antenna ensures optimum network reception - even in areas with poor network coverage. The Connect variant is offered for the iPhone 6™. The new snap-in adapter supports the classic telephony function and can therefore be used in all vehicles without SA 6NS (ConnectedDrive realignment) and without SA 6NF (music interface for smartphone). In addition, all comfort telephony functions including entertainment and apps (only in conjunction with SA 6NR "BMW Apps") work with this snap-in adapter in vehicles with SA 6NS. Additional benefits for vehicles with SA 6NS: -Personal entertainment program on board: A USB interface is integrated in the snap-in adapter. The stored music tracks can thus be conveniently operated and played via the music player (depending on the vehicle equipment). Playback takes place via the vehicle loudspeaker system. -The vehicle display can show the album cover of the music track currently being played (depending on vehicle equipment and year of manufacture). This allows songs to be immediately assigned to an album or artist ("cover art"). -With the free BMW app, interesting additional functions such as web radio, Last Mile, Facebook and Twitter access can be used in the vehicle. This app is available through the Apple App Store. Use of the app in vehicles depends on the year of manufacture and equipment.
