Additional loudspeaker

For the K 1600 Grand America, the additional loudspeakers will be offered as standard equipment ex works from PU 2018 (08/2018). The retrofit applies to vehicles produced before PU 2018. The main information on the additional loudspeakers and their retrofitting is summarized below. A new all-round sound experience is achieved by upgrading the current audio system. The additional speakers have been specially developed for use in BMW motorcycles and include high-performance rear speakers with a powerful additional amplifier. The additional amplifier is integrated into the top case behind the rear seat backrest and is used to control the rear loudspeaker. The special shape of the loudspeaker cones achieves a radiation characteristic that is specially optimized for use in BMW motorcycles. -New all-round sound experience. -BMW patented back-loaded horn. -High-performance rear speaker with a powerful additional amplifier. -Powerful 30 W subwoofer (not included). -50 W rear speaker system (not included). -Specially developed for use in BMW motorcycles. -Additional items are required for installation.
