Description

The key cap for the new MINI models is a genuine innovation in design and technology. The MINI key can be dismantled into two parts, as the cap can simply be pulled off after removing the rear cover and replaced with the design key cap. The Design Characters are a novelty in the entire automotive industry. Coordinating all accessory products in different design lines is unique on the market. A technological innovation is the NFC (Near Field Communication) chip built into the cap, which allows you to control your smartphone simply by touching it. -The key cap is the perfect fashion accessory and is available in three characters. The personal taste of every MINI lover is thus perfectly expressed. The key cap is therefore unmistakably MINI: cool design for fashion-conscious drivers. -The key cap is very easy to attach. This is how your individuality is presented in detail. -An NFC chip is integrated into the key cap as a special innovation. Its position is indicated by a small bump on the top right-hand side of the cap. The NFC chip makes it possible to control the smartphone with the MINI key. This is held up to the key cap, the device recognizes the chip and displays the user's individual settings stored on the chip. The actions can be reversed when the key is held up again. -If you do not yet have an NFC app on your device, the app download area opens the first time you touch your smartphone to the keycap, allowing you to search for and download special programming apps directly. -Once the NFC chip has been configured, it can call up various smartphone functions, e.g. volume, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or an app, fully automatically and cancel these actions again when contact is made again. A special clip-on device on the MINI key ensures that only the original MINI key fob fits perfectly. An ideal addition that ensures secure attachment. The three new colour worlds are a visually ingenious concept with which you can immediately recognize your personal MINI not only from the inside, but also from the outside. The three characters offer MINI styling for every taste. VIVID GREEN is the design line with pure, strong colors, young and bold but not fast-paced. The color selection is based on international fashion trends. BLUE is aimed at a more tradition-conscious target group, but one that likes to think fresh. Classically elegant shapes with leather elements and a balance of cool and warm colors dominate here. The focus is on the basic colors from the British flag, especially blue, one of MINI's original hues. The design interprets the British look in a modern and sporty way. JOHN COOPER WORKS PRO builds on the well-known John Cooper Works design and makes it available for MINI accessory products. The sporty color mix of mainly black and red tones is a clear commitment to power and performance.
