Parts of the M Performance side trim grilles (gills) are made of high-quality carbon and emphasize the sporty look of the vehicle. After the carbon parts have cured, a clear coat is applied to emphasize the depth effect of the 3K fabric and protect the matrix material (epoxy resin) from environmental influences.
