Description

The steering wheel rim for vehicles without Steptronic is completely covered in Alcantara and flattened at the bottom. However, the highlight here is a display located in the center of the upper steering wheel segment. An OLED and two LED displays allow you to call up a wide range of driving efficiency and motorsport-related functions. They can be conveniently controlled using control buttons in the thumb rests. You can choose between three different modes: ECO, Sport and Race. The LED displays can be used to show the optimum shift points in all three modes. In ECO mode, additional differentiated displays are available for a consumption-optimized driving style. The Sport mode includes a stopwatch with display of the current consumption values and a g-meter for displaying the current acceleration, including a memory function. Race mode has a lap timer with various stop and memory functions. A lap trigger is also available as an option. Lap times can thus be measured automatically and extremely accurately via an infrared transmitter and receiver. The race mode also offers various acceleration measurements, such as the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h** or the US quarter-mile race. All three modes also display the water temperature or, in the case of petrol engines, the oil temperature.
