With the BMW ConnectedRide COM P1 SYSTEM 8, the latest generation (technical basis Sena 60 series) of helmet communication systems from our partner Sena is perfectly integrated in all new SYSTEM 8 helmet variants. and can be fully operated via CONNECTEDRIDE NAVIGATOR or ConnectedRide App on the bike while riding. Hardware: The hardware is based on the new Sena 60s, whereby the physical integration into all helmets in the new SYSTEM 8 series has been completely redesigned and implemented by BMW in order to meet the high demands placed on a SYSTEM 8 helmet. -Runtime: with permanent use mesh (6h), normal use (30% mesh/phone/music (8h), low use (5% mesh or phone/media) (12h). -Charging via standard USB-C on any power source (with strong charger 100% charge in 1 hour) -Protection class: IP 6x. -Mesh range up to 1.5km in ideal conditions. -Range mesh in normal use approx. 800m with up to 5 participants in the mesh corresponding to up to 4km. -Update and administration via BMW ConnectedRide app. Software: The COM P1 is fully integrated into the ConnectedRide Navigator and the ConnectedRide app. This means that the driver does not have to take his hands off the handlebars to use all the usual functions of his communication system while driving, but can control everything via the MMC in the ConnectedRide Navigator or the ConnectedRide app. Connectivity Hub: A central location where all connections (WLAN, Bluetooth) are displayed and managed. -Smartphone -Driver's helmet -passenger helmet Scope of delivery: -COM P1 system for SYSTEM 8 helmet. -Incl. all materials required for installation and TX5 screwdriver.
