ConnectedRide COM P1 System 8

Description

With the BMW ConnectedRide COM P1 SYSTEM 8, the latest generation (based on the Sena 60 Series) of helmet communication systems from our partner Sena is seamlessly integrated into all new SYSTEM 8 helmet models and can be fully operated on the bike while riding via the CONNECTEDRIDE NAVIGATOR or the ConnectedRide app. Hardware: The hardware is based on the new Sena 60s, although the physical integration into all helmets of the new SYSTEM 8 series was completely redesigned and implemented by BMW to meet the high standards required of a SYSTEM 8 helmet. -Battery life: with continuous Mesh use (6 hours), normal use (30% Mesh/phone/music) (8 hours), light use (5% Mesh or phone/media) (12 hours). -Charging via standard USB-C from any power source (100% charge in 1 hour with a high-power charger) -Protection class: IP 6x. -Mesh range up to 1.5 km under ideal conditions. -Mesh range during typical use: approx. 800 m; with up to 5 participants in the mesh, the range extends to up to 4 km. -Updates and administration via the BMW ConnectedRide app. Software: The COM P1 is fully integrated into the ConnectedRide Navigator and the ConnectedRide app. This means the rider does not have to take their hands off the handlebars to use all the standard functions of their communication system while riding; instead, they can control everything via the MMC in the ConnectedRide Navigator or the ConnectedRide app. Connectivity Hub: A central location where all connections (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) are displayed and managed. -Smartphone -Rider’s helmet -Passenger’s helmet Package Contents: -COM P1 for Helmet System 8 -Gooseneck microphone -Pair of speakers -Includes all materials required for installation Minimum period for -Functionality-maintaining software updates: 5 years from the date of purchase -Safety-related software updates: 5 years from the date of purchase
