M Performance Steering Wheel

Description

The M Performance steering wheel is fully covered with high-quality Alcantara and flattened at the bottom. The diameter is 372 mm, the steering wheel cross-section 39 x 32 mm. The steering wheel trim is covered with open-pore carbon and Alcantara. The hand-stitched, silver-gray cross-stitch stitching further enhances the high-quality materials. A function display with the latest OLED technology and two-color LED displays to the right and left of the display are integrated in the upper steering wheel rim. Two buttons are embedded under the Alcantara in the thumb rest area for operation. The modes EfficientDynamics Mode, Sport Mode and Race Mode can thus be set at the touch of a button. -Sporty: The M Performance steering wheel conveys a motorsport atmosphere thanks to the high-tech materials from motorsport Alcantara and open-pore carbon. -Better feel and grip: Alcantara is the perfect material for sports steering wheels. It provides optimum grip on the steering wheel in extreme driving situations and offers a consistently pleasant feel in all temperature conditions. -The sporty yet refined design with hand-stitched, silver-grey cross-stitching and open-pored carbon perfectly matches the M Performance look. -Everything at a glance: Thanks to the Race Display, the driver always has the displays and controls in his field of vision or within easy reach while driving and can easily navigate through the three modes. -The gear change indicator by means of colored LEDs on the right and left of the display conveys real motorsport feeling in everyday life. -Simple operation: thanks to the symbol-based MMI (man-machine interface), the individual functions of the modes are shown as icons in the display.Sporty but efficient. -The additional EfficientDynamics features support a consumption-optimized driving style at the touch of a button. -The optional measuring trigger allows lap or section times to be recorded automatically by means of an infrared light barrier. -High quality: The scratch-resistant, high-quality cover of the displays made of a PC cover glass promise a long service life. -When installed with SA248 (steering wheel heating), the heating function is omitted. The switch for the steering wheel heating remains without function. -The electronics integrated in a plastic shell in the upper steering wheel rim accesses the vehicle CAN (data bus) via a separate control unit. -For the detailed setting options of the display and the description of the features, please refer to the operating instructions.
