The BMW M Performance Power and Sound Kit delivers optimal performance enhancement (265 kW) for the stock engine in the 340i/440i and 340i/440i xDrive. The new performance-optimized engine calibration, combined with the perfectly matched flap muffler system, transforms the 340i/440i and 340i/440i xDrive into an uncompromising sports experience that can be heard and felt. -Improved acceleration, impressive torque, and faster response are the improvements the driver immediately notices after installation. Acceleration times (from 0 to 100 km/h) improve by 0.2 seconds. -Fascinating performance, sporty and dynamic tuning. With the valve-controlled muffler system, a power increase to 265 kW/500 Nm is even possible. An increase that inspires enthusiasm and impresses with outstanding performance. -The strong low-end torque, even at high speeds, still allows for powerful acceleration, ensuring a sporty and highly agile driving experience. -Higher torque curve: Maximum 500 Nm at 1520–4800 1/min -Higher power output: Maximum 265 kW at 5,500 rpm. For vehicles with a manual transmission, only a torque of 480 Nm can be achieved to protect the components. -Same fuel consumption despite higher power: Fuel consumption and emissions in the ECE driving cycle correspond to those of the standard engine, despite significantly higher power. -Performance at a glance: The Sport display on the iDrive monitor is adapted to the higher power and torque. This ensures optimal fit and manufacturer-grade quality. -Easy installation: The muffler system can be easily installed by screwing it in place. No welding is required. -The M Performance muffler system gives the rear of the vehicle a striking and distinctive look. -High-quality alternative: You can choose between chrome and carbon fiber tailpipe trims to further personalize your vehicle. An activation code is required for this. You must request this code from your local authorized service center or dealer. When the full potential of the M Performance Power and Sound Kit is utilized, the stock brake system may be subjected to higher thermal loads. For particularly sporty driving styles, we therefore recommend installing the thermally more capable and larger M Performance brake system.
