Description

Secure hold and yet flexible: The innovative 3M adhesive allows the holder to be permanently attached to the windscreen, but can be easily removed again without leaving any residue if required. This means that the smartphone holder can continue to be used after the windshield has been replaced or can be fitted in a new vehicle. Universal charging station: With its integrated USB interface, the holder allows the smartphone to be charged in the vehicle. Integrated interactivity: The NFC chip (Near Field Communication) in the Samsung holder makes it possible. As soon as the NFC-enabled smartphone is inserted into the holder, the BMW Wireless App is automatically activated. This enables vehicle-optimized operation and playback of music/telephony via Bluetooth over the vehicle speakers (e.g. with Samsung™ Galaxy S3). The app is available free of charge in the iTunes Store and Google Play Store. Note: -BMW recommends attaching the smartphone holder as far to the bottom left of the windshield as possible. -The packaging unit contains everything you need to attach and charge the smartphone. -If the smartphone is to be charged while driving, the USB cable can be connected to the 12 V on-board socket. -The smartphone holder can also be optionally installed by the BMW partner without visible wiring; the "Adapter power supply (12V)" installation kit is required for this. -Installation time approx. 0.75h
