The M Performance Steering Wheel II is based on the new M Sport steering wheel from the 3 Series. It is upholstered in high-quality Alcantara. In general, the steering wheel can be installed in all vehicles. If an M Sport steering wheel is already installed, all associated parts—such as the airbag unit, multifunction buttons, etc.—can be reused. For all other steering wheels—i.e., the standard steering wheel, leather steering wheel, and sport steering wheel, the airbag unit, multifunction buttons, and, if applicable, shift paddles and steering wheel electronics must be reordered and replaced to accommodate the vehicle-specific optional equipment. Please refer to the corresponding illustration panel “M Sport Steering Wheel” and the associated mounting parts.
