M Performance light carpet for retrofitting and for replacing the standard light carpet. The M Performance light carpet is an accessory highlight that offers BMW drivers an improved, brighter welcome experience in the form of a 3 m long light projection on both sides of the vehicle. The light sources are located in or under the sill, so that the projection illuminates the entrance area even when the doors are open. The M Performance light carpet replaces the standard light carpet with a more intensive M projection or can be used as a retrofit solution for vehicles without a factory-installed light carpet. With a simple press of a button on the car key or when approaching the vehicle, the lighting is activated and casts an impressive M graphic on the ground next to the car.
