The automatic chain lubrication system ensures continuous lubrication of the drive chain, thus reducing the maintenance and care requirements for your machine. It also extends the service life of the chain. The automatic chain lubrication system is controlled by a vacuum that is created when the engine is running. This lifts a diaphragm, which in turn opens a valve so that oil flows by gravity through a delivery hose to the chain above the rear sprocket. Both sides of the chain are lubricated: The oil reaches the inner plates of the chain via the sprocket due to centrifugal force. Some of the oil is distributed to the O-rings, the rest penetrates the rollers and is distributed to the other side of the chain by capillary action. The oil quantity (drip rate) can be regulated by the valve setting, the maximum outflow quantity is limited. Result: The constant lubrication considerably reduces friction within the chain drive, minimizing wear and power loss. No separate switching on and off required: The system works automatically as soon as and only when the engine is running. The system is designed in such a way that it has no effect on the running characteristics of the motor.
