The BMW Junior Seat 2/3 "grows with your child". It offers maximum safety and comfort for children from approx. 3 to 12 years. Thanks to the variable backrest angle, the child seat adapts perfectly to the vehicle seat and guarantees particularly high impact protection in the head area with patented airpads. The folding function of the backrest makes it easy to transport in the backpack supplied. If a child restraint system is used on the front passenger seat, the front passenger airbags must be deactivated, otherwise there is an increased risk of injury to the child if the airbag is deployed, even with a child restraint system. The skin-friendly fabrics "Made in Germany" always ensure exemplary travel comfort. All plastics meet the particularly high requirements of the automotive industry in terms of stability, quality and pollutant limits. In exceptional cases, e.g. with very difficult seat geometries, the backrest can be removed and only the lower section used as a seat cushion. Thanks to a wide range of adjustment options, the seat can be individually adjusted to the child's height. A height scale simplifies height adjustment. The seat "grows" with the child thanks to its adjustability. With the backrest removed, only for children weighing 22 kg or more! It is generally recommended to always use the seat with its backrest, as the backrest provides additional head and side impact protection. When using the Junior Seat 2/3 without the backrest, the seat base may only be attached to the vehicle seat with the locking arms retracted (without ISOFIX connection). In E70 and F15 vehicles with a third row of seats (SA 4UB), the installation of child restraint systems on the third row of seats is not permitted.
