To do this, stick one of the enclosed sanding pads under the polishing stamp, moisten the paint with water and sand in a circular motion over the scratch using light pressure. Do not sand through to the primer and do not tilt! Then wipe off any sanding residue with the enclosed polishing fleece. A matt finish will remain. ATTENTION: Sanding is only necessary for deep scratches. Many scratches and scuffs can be repaired without this step. PRE-POLISHING: Apply Polish 1 to the scratched or already sanded area. Wrap the polishing stamp with a clean polishing fleece. Then polish with high pressure on the sanded or scratched area until the scratches or traces of sanding are no longer visible. Depending on the density and depth of the scratches, this may take several minutes. If the polished area becomes too dry, apply Polish 1 again. Then wipe off polishing residues with polishing fleece. FINISH: Apply Finish 2 to the pre-polished area. Wrap a new clean area of polishing fleece (as described above) around the polishing stamp and rub with medium pressure until the desired surface gloss is achieved. Finally, wipe off any residue with the polishing fleece.
