Installation note: The Lower Protection Bar Set also fits the BMW R 1250 GS Adventure model. The upper protection bar is not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately. It is the first product of its kind from Akrapovič. It is made from sandblasted, lightweight titanium, fully utilizing the company's expertise in titanium technology. It has been developed from scratch and offers a weight saving of around 40% compared to similar steel versions, as well as high strength and corrosion resistance. The tubes are precision TIG-welded and fitted with laser-cut and precision-machined 8 mm flanges to ensure a perfect fit and strength. They fit perfectly with the bike's existing components and offer the option of attaching additional bags, fog lights or auxiliary lights to the bars. They weigh only 3.88 kg and do not restrict the lean angle. The highly stable construction, which has been comprehensively evaluated through numerous tests and deformation analyses, is partially connected to the frame in order to distribute any shocks across the tubes. The product is engraved with a logo and the words Titanium to emphasize the important product characteristics. Suitable for BMW R 1250 GS / ADVENTURE 2019-2023.
