Comprehensive use: The ISOFIX Base can be used for the BMW Baby Seat Group 0+ as well as for the rear-facing and forward-facing BWM Junior Seat Group 1. -Safety to the power of two: In both installation directions, the seats are stable and securely connected to the ISOFIX Base. -Use is simple and intuitive. Color indicators support the correct installation of the ISOFIX Base in the vehicle. -Unlike conventional child seat crash pads, the patented Airpads are soft and comfortable in everyday use. -The ISOFIX technology gives the seat additional safety, as connection errors can be ruled out. -The BMW Junior Seat Group 1 can be secured both rearward and forward-facing in the vehicle. The longest possible rearward-facing transportation is the safest procedure for the child. -The ISOFIX Base is anchored in the ISOFIX brackets of the vehicle and thus ensures a firm connection between the BMW Baby Seat 0+ or the BMW Junior Seat 1 and the vehicle body. -The BMW Baby Seat Group 0+ can also be secured without the ISOFIX Base, using only the three-point vehicle belt. -The BMW Junior Seat Group 1 can only be secured to the vehicle together with the ISOFIX Base. Airpads. -Integrated airpads (patented): The static air cushions are made of the same tear-resistant fabric as vehicle airbags and enclose a space filled with air and foam. In the event of a side impact, the contained air is displaced very quickly and flows out through the fabric envelope in a defined manner. As with an airbag, this dissipates the crash energy and the airpads therefore serve as impact protection for the head between the child and the child seat. In contrast to conventional child seat crash pads, the airpads are soft and comfortable in everyday use.
