In various countries, the analog TV signal has been switched off or converted from DVB-T to DVB-T2 standard. To ensure that the TV function remains available in your BMW, the Digital DVB-T2 TV module must be retrofitted. The TV module supports the DVB-T and DVB-T2 standard (MPEG-2 and MPEG-4). -Short installation time: only the TV module needs to be replaced and programmed. -Supports DVB-T/DVB-T2 in MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 format. -Improved receiver performance and higher stability with modern DVB-T tuner technology. -Detailed information on current and subsequent programs of all channels. -Display of subtitles and improved electronic program guide EPG. Increased user-friendliness thanks to faster switching times. -The X 5 SAV and X6 SAC models cannot be upgraded to a Digital DVB-T2 TV module. For technical reasons, only a conversion to the Digital DVB-T TV module is offered here. -Due to the changeover to DVB-T2, private channels (possibly pay TV) can no longer be received, depending on the region. In this case, a pay TV card provided by you must be installed in the Digital DVB-T2 TV module in accordance with the repair instructions.
