Description
The automatic chain lubrication system ensures continuous lubrication of the drive chain, thus reducing the maintenance and care required for your machine. It also extends the service life of the chain. The automatic chain lubrication system is controlled by negative pressure created when the engine is running. This lifts a diaphragm, which in turn opens a valve, allowing oil to flow by gravity through a delivery hose to the chain above the rear sprocket. Both sides of the chain are lubricated: Oil passes over the sprocket by centrifugal force to the inner link plates of the chain. Part of the oil is distributed to the O-rings, the rest penetrates the rollers and is distributed to the other side of the chain by capillary action. The amount of oil (drip rate) can be controlled by the valve setting, and the maximum outflow rate is limited. Result: Constant lubrication significantly reduces friction within the chain drive, minimizing wear and power loss. No separate on/off switching required: the system operates automatically as soon as and only when the engine is running. The system is designed to have no effect on the running characteristics of the motor.
