The BMW Iconic Glow front ornamental grilles set new standards: when the vehicle is opened and before it is locked, they illuminate the kidneys and the front of the vehicle. They set a unique visual accent The wiring harness, the control electronics and the diffuser foils must be ordered separately. For technical approval reasons, the light carpet must be deactivated on one side. The illuminated front grille has black grille bars and can be installed in all kidney variants (chrome, black, cerium gray). To avoid reflections on the lower kidney frame and to meet the approval requirements, diffuser foils must be bonded to the lower part of the kidney frame. The illuminated front grille can be fitted to vehicles with or without iCam. The wiring harness, the control electronics and the diffuser foils are not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately. -Emphasizing the BMW icon: With the Iconic Glow front grille, you can perfectly showcase the typical BMW air intake, the kidney grille. -Greatest possible differentiation from the standard vehicles: The overall impression of the vehicle is changed by emphasizing the striking kidney grille in conjunction with the main headlights. -The kidney grille lighting is active both when the vehicle is opened and between "ignition off" and locking the vehicle. -The lighting goes out automatically as soon as all doors are closed and the engine is started. -In addition to the design aspect, the lighting also serves to illuminate the area in front of the vehicle. This makes it easier to recognize objects or parking space numbers in front of the vehicle, for example. -The lighting can withstand influences such as heat, moisture, dirt and water pressure (e.g. car wash). -The LED lighting is integrated into the front grille in such a way that the frame and bars are illuminated from above with white light. -The lighting is controlled as apron lighting. The apron is additionally illuminated when entering and exiting the vehicle.
