The Wallbox Pro with energy meter clearly stands out from the products available on the market thanks to its unique selling points in terms of innovative design, charging power and extensive smart charging functions. The integrated 7-inch touchscreen and intuitive user management allow you to control the functions of the Wallbox Pro. The proximity sensor reacts to movements and the user interface is activated automatically. The maximum possible use of your own electricity (e.g. by integrating a solar system) is possible, as is connectivity to a smart home system. The systems are currently supported by myGEKKO and Loxone. Aspects that have a positive impact on the cost situation and ultimately ensure a sustainable charging experience. The Wallbox Pro always charges with the maximum amount of electricity available in the house. The integrated control ensures that an overload in the house is avoided. Thanks to a high charging capacity, the charging time is significantly reduced. The charging power is preset to 10 A at the factory. In principle, the maximum charging power can be set in 1 ampere steps in the range from 32 A to 8 A in order to take local conditions into account. The LED light guides on the side of the Wallbox Pro indicate the current charging status and make it visible from a distance. The plug on the Wallbox Pro is positioned at an ergonomically favorable height. The plug can be removed from the Wallbox Pro and plugged into the vehicle with just one hand. Charging then starts automatically without any further operating steps being necessary (if the PIN code request is inactive). The 3.5 meter long charging cable is attached at a height, which means that it can be operated without any awkward winding - similar to filling up at a petrol pump. Bending down and dirty hands are thus avoided. The large operating radius enables flexible parking positions. With a length of 3.5 meters, the highly flexible charging cable enables convenient parking positions on the Wallbox Pro. This makes parking to charge the vehicle much easier. The Wallbox Pro allows the creation of up to three user accounts, each with two user profiles. Detailed documentation of the charging history is also possible - so it is possible to check how much has been charged and by which user. Design & material: -The color touchscreen of the Wallbox Pro is a central design element that gives the Wallbox Pro a forward-looking character. In terms of user guidance and design, it was developed in line with the familiar BMW operating concept. -The plug holder in rich black, surrounded by a chrome ring, gives the Wallbox Pro an elegant look. -The front of the Wallbox Pro, painted in anthracite effect paint, meets the highest demands: the paint provides lasting protection for the Wallbox Pro and contributes to a harmonious appearance with the vehicle. The ergonomic and high-quality design is characterized by selected, high-quality and environmentally friendly materials. The housing is made of durable plastic and contains recycled material. Functionality: -Consumption and evaluations always at a glance: The user administration of the Wallbox Pro enables different evaluations of the charging history according to the amount of electricity charged for personal and grid power - for example, a private and professional profile can be created for each user account, reflecting the different charging habits. The consumption values of the three users can be sent to third parties by e-mail for reimbursement of electricity costs as part of state subsidies or business vehicle use. This guarantees simple billing of the electricity costs incurred, e.g. via the ChargeNow connection. -With a connected smart home system, you can use the Wallbox Pro to call up a weather forecast with a visual display as well as daily maximum and minimum temperatures and frost warnings for the current day and the next two days. -Smart Home Link: The connection to myGEKKO in the house is established from the touchscreen of the Wallbox Pro in the garage. Up to eight functions can be configured on the SHS and automatically duplicated on the Wallbox Pro. For example, the driveway lighting can be activated via the touchscreen. Using so-called scenario functions, a series of previously defined actions can be controlled by pressing a symbol. -Thoughtful: Thanks to intelligent load management, the Wallbox Pro always uses the maximum available power. The utilization of the house connection is clearly displayed on the touchscreen. The charging power of the Wallbox Pro is dynamically adjusted during consumption peaks in the household. This function can also be used to derive valuable conclusions and recommendations on user behavior. The energy distribution can thus be better assessed and the use of electrical consumers in the household can be optimally adapted. -For individualization, each user can choose between profile and vehicle icons. These are stored in the corresponding user accounts, along with other personal data and settings. -The Wallbox Pro speaks many languages: It can be operated in 15 different languages, which can be easily selected via the settings menu. -Particularly secure: The Wallbox Pro is securely protected against unauthorized use thanks to the optional PIN code query for each user. -Query charging status via smartphone: An NFC transponder is integrated behind the BMW i lettering on the Wallbox Pro. If the user holds an NFC-enabled smartphone in front of the lettering, the BMW i Remote app opens and allows the charging status to be queried. If no BMW i Remote App has been programmed yet, the user is automatically redirected to the App Store. Safety: The Wallbox Pro meets all country-specific requirements and therefore offers a high level of security across all countries. -All installed components are certified according to international standards. -Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician. BMW offers the Wallbox Pro installation service together with a partner (Deutsche Telekom Technischer Service GmbH). -Installing the BMW i Wallbox pure is not without risk. An incorrect procedure can also result in damage to the BMW i Wallbox. It is therefore essential that you have the installation, initial commissioning and maintenance of the BMW i Wallbox carried out by appropriately trained, qualified and authorized electricians. Only then will the warranty be fully valid. If the installation is carried out without authorization or by another service provider, BMW (i) accepts no liability in the event of damage. Depending on the country, country-specific regulations must be observed and complied with when connecting.
