Description
With the practical smartphone cradle from BMW Motorrad, the rider always has his smartphone in view. This means that functions such as navigation instructions, news and online information can be used as usual, even when on the move. The robust plastic housing is dustproof and waterproof and accommodates devices up to a display size of five inches. A non-slip and vibration-resistant base ensures a perfect fit in the hard case. Thanks to a window made of anti-reflective flex film, the touchscreen remains operable and can be easily read even while driving. The cradle can be rotated by 90° and can be used in either landscape or portrait format. To ensure that the smartphone remains ready for use even on extended motorcycle tours, the cradle has a practical charging function both via micro USB and wirelessly, provided that the smartphone is suitable for inductive charging. The current charging status is indicated by a light-emitting diode, and power is supplied via the motorcycle's SZ plug.
