Ideal for trips with children. The BMW Group offers a set combining a seatback protector and a child seat pad to protect the car seats. The seatback protector is attached to the back of the front seat to protect it from stains. You can choose between two colors—heather gray or solid black—by flipping the cover over. Thanks to its lightweight material, the seatback protector is neither bulky nor visually obtrusive, and can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth. The child seat pad is placed under the child seat to protect the back seat from indentations. Extra foam padding on the sides of the pad ensures reliable protection. For forward-facing child seats, extending the pad all the way to the child’s feet provides additional protection against dirt on the front of the seat. For rear-facing child seats, the backrest of the rear seat is protected by the child seat pad, which extends all the way to the seatbacks. By flipping the pad over, you can choose between the two colors: heather gray with black or heather gray only. The backrest protector and child seat pad are each secured via a snap-in connection to the headrest. The backrest protector also has two mounting hooks that hook under the seat. Thanks to the combination of both mounting options, the backrest protector fits the car seat perfectly. With their elegant design made of durable polyester fabric, both the child seat pad and the backrest protector perfectly complement the high-quality BMW and MINI interiors.
