The charging station at your home. With the permanently installed MINI Wallbox Essential, you can charge your MINI quickly, reliably and conveniently with up to 22 kW. It is a home charging station for all Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV). In addition to its space-saving, compact dimensions in MINI design, the MINI Wallbox Essential also offers convenient cable management. You can also keep an eye on the current status of the MINI Wallbox Essential at all times via the status display. The integrated residual current detection also enables simple and cost-effective installation. Compared to the basic OUC cable supplied with the vehicle, the wallbox achieves up to 6 times the charging speed. -Maximum charging convenience: The cable is wound and unwound around the wallbox, no more bending down. -Plug & Play: When the plug is connected to the vehicle, charging starts automatically without any further operating steps being necessary. -High and scalable charging power up to 22 kW. -Easy operation incl. convenient cable management. Space-saving, compact dimensions in MINI design. Simple and cost-effective installation thanks to integrated residual current detection. Material: -The ergonomic and high-quality design is characterized by selected, high-quality and environmentally friendly materials. -The housing contains recycled material and is made of durable plastic. The high-quality multi-layer coating of the outer parts meets the highest demands. It protects the wallbox permanently and contributes to a harmonious appearance with the vehicle. -Weather resistance: The wallbox can be permanently mounted both inside and outside. Technical information: -The wallbox can be flexibly and easily connected to the domestic power supply. The wallbox supports the vehicle-specific "time-controlled charging" function. This makes it possible to charge vehicles exclusively at certain times and thus take advantage of particularly favorable electricity rates, for example. Pre-air conditioning of the vehicle: The temperature in the vehicle can be preset. This means you will find a charged and pre-heated or pre-cooled vehicle in the morning. The energy required for this is provided by the wallbox when the vehicle is connected and is thus saved during the journey - to maximize the range. -The status display of the wallbox is shown by an LED bar on the front of the wallbox. Thanks to the display on the wallbox, you can always see the current charging status, even from a distance.
