Innovative BMW tire repair kit, quick and easy to use. Mobility can be restored quickly and easily, allowing you to leave a potentially dangerous area quickly. The Tire Repair Kit Plus may only be fitted to original BMW or MINI wheels approved for this purpose! The bolt circle, the position of the poly control holes and the rim contour are decisive for the correct installation and secure fit of the Tire Repair Kit Plus. If the tire repair kit Plus is nevertheless used to repair a puncture on a non-approved wheel, this may only be done only be used when not mounted and positioned next to the vehicle (as with the previous Mobility Sets)! In this case, the journey can only be continued after the tire has been successfully sealed and inflated. -Compared to the previous puncture kit, the puncture kit Plus covers a wider range of tire damage. -The puncture kit Plus reduces the time spent in the potentially hazardous area to a minimum and enables the vehicle to continue its journey quickly. -Previous kits require more handling and a longer stay in the potential danger zone until the tire is sealed and inflated. -Integrated component with a hose for air and sealant - no assembly required. -The Tire Inflation Kit Plus is also available ex works (SA 2VD), depending on the vehicle from 03/25. -Exclusively available only from BMW (applies to 2025). -Meets all BMW quality standards. -Bag with fastening is crash-proof. Functionality: -Over 90% of tire damage can be sealed with the Tire Puncture Repair Kit Plus (damage <= 6mm diameter). -Thanks to improved "healing" of the new aerosol technology of the sealant, a wider range of tire damage is covered than with previous puncture kits. -Puncture repair in 15-20 seconds: -The tube is screwed onto the valve. -The set is placed on the wheel bolts and anchored there magnetically at three points (audible clicking sound). In addition, it is guided and held by two safety pins in the polycontrol holes. -Air and sealant are automatically filled in after activation. If the tire pressure is sufficient (> 1.0 bar), the journey can be continued immediately. -The tire inflation pressure rises to a maximum of 2.0 bar (RDC warning light & tire pressure monitoring warning message remain active). The system automatically re-inflates the tires if pressure is lost again. Technical data: -for wheels with 112 mm bolt circle (120 mm version to follow in 2026) -1.3 kg -Compressor (10 A / 110 W) -Battery (3x 2600 mAh) -Filling quantity 300 ml Active Seal Notes: -Not suitable for M models and Rolls Royce. -Please note the approval for the individual derivatives and wheel stylings. -Due to the storage time, the battery arrives in a partially discharged state. The battery must therefore be fully charged before first use. The Tire Repair Kit Plus must be initially charged before first use. During the charging process, the LED next to the USB-C port flashes green. When the battery is fully charged, the LED lights up green continuously. -The battery status is checked every 2 years as part of the service visit; if the battery needs to be recharged, this can be done easily in the vehicle using the USB-C cable supplied. -After use or after expiry of the shelf life (approx. 6 years, see label), reuse is not possible. Safety instructions: -Enables you to continue driving up to 200 km (125 miles) at max. 80 km/h (50 mph) after a flat tire (until the next possible repair or replacement of the tire). -After use in the event of a puncture, the set can be removed from the bike by the dealer organization. The Tire Puncture Repair Kit Plus may only be fitted to original BMW & MINI wheels approved for this purpose! The above exclusions must be observed.
