Slip-On Line

Description

This product is made of high-quality titanium and has integrated acoustic reflectors that reflect the outside sound towards the cabin and improve the overall acoustic experience of the Akrapovič exhaust. Two integrated exhaust valves, each on one side of the muffler and controlled by the Akrapovič control kit, individually adjust the gas flow for a pleasant sound experience. The sound has a linear flow based on revs and engine load, offering a smooth and harmonious tone at lower revs, rising to a characteristic V8 roll in the mid-range and reaching a crescendo of high-frequency sporty sound at higher revs.The exhaust is equipped with two sets of eye-catching tailpipes with a titanium inner sleeve and a handcrafted carbon fiber outer sleeve. The complex parts of this Slip-On Line (titanium), including the valve bodies and the two headers, are all cast in the company's own titanium foundry. The system is 11.35 kg (50.7 %) lighter than the standard system. It offers power and torque increases of 7.6 kW (10.3 hp) and 12.6 Nm respectively, both at 5,750 rpm, when tested on the Akrapovič test bench compared to a BMW XM Label with M exhaust system. Plug-and-play installation means no remapping is required and the vehicle has EC/ECE type approval .A further enhancement to the Slip-On Line (Titanium) system is available through the optional Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium)*, which is aimed at those who want a higher performance increase. The Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium) is designed exclusively for use on race tracks. The installation of the Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium) means that the EC/ECE type approval for the Slip-On Line (Titanium) is no longer valid.
