Rear Wing

Description

This product is made from lightweight, handcrafted carbon fiber and painted for a high-gloss appearance. It is mounted on two gooseneck shaped brackets made from lightweight CNC machined aluminum to achieve the best weight to performance ratio. The brackets have been designed for the optimum balance between load capacity and weight. The bolts connecting the wing and the brackets are made of high quality titanium. High quality titanium reinforcements have been incorporated for better structural stability at the pivot points. The wing was developed to achieve an extremely competitive ratio between downforce and drag. A small lip is added to the trailing edge of the wing to maximize the wing's performance by generating even more downforce. Optimized for the aerodynamics of the BMW M3 and M4, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) was used to ensure the best possible functionality. Particular attention was paid to ensuring that the overall geometry does not cause any additional air turbulence at the rear or generate additional noise at the side of the vehicle. -The wing can be adjusted in three stages and must be manually set to the desired angle before driving. It has an ABE with AKR-WI KBA 31882 type approval and features a discreet Akrapovič monochrome logo on each side. -This product does not fit BMW M4 Convertible (G83). -This product is suitable for the M4 G82 G83 with OPF/GPF. -Fitting the Akrapovic Rear Wing Carbon for the M3 G80 G81 requires the Akrapovic Fitting Kit M3 G80 G81. -Fitting the Akrapovic Rear Wing Carbon for the M4 G82 G83 requires the Akrapovic Fitting Kit M4 G82 G83. -This kit is not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately.
