Description

Made of ultra-light and high-quality titanium, which reduces the overall weight of the car and improves handling. Perfectly crafted and ECE-approved, the system has been tuned to get the most out of the M2's twin power turbo six-cylinder engine and is entirely designed to provide more power across the rev range. This new system has two separate tubes from the downpipe to the muffler - unlike the original single-tube design. They are perfectly routed and shaped to allow optimal exhaust flow from the M2's impressive engine and provide a significant performance increase. The sound has been refined by Akrapovič engineers: the unique external sound has a higher pitch and gives a real racing feeling at higher rpm ranges. The Evolution Line is perfectly tuned for everyday use when riding at low revs, as it is smooth and refined, yet already hinting at the true potential of the system. When higher revs are called for and the flaps are permanently open, the sound offers an addictive racing sound. As a simple plug-and-play system, it's an excellent addition to enhance the performance of the BMW M2. Carbon fiber tailpipes enhance the look of the M2 rear end and emphasize its sporty potential. Performance can be further enhanced by adding an optional downpipe, available with or without catalytic converters. Additional optional accessories are available to further accentuate the sporty appearance. The Evolution Line is suitable for the 2016 - 2017 model years.
