Evolution Line

Description

Made from Akrapovič's own titanium, the Evolution Line system includes a muffler, link pipes and resonators running from the original downpipe to the rear. The link pipes have a larger diameter than the original pipes and are fitted with flanges made of cast titanium. The secondary catalytic converters are removed, further reducing backpressure and weight while providing a deeper sound and increasing power delivery. For the ultimate in weight reduction, tuning potential and aggressive racing sound, optional cat-less downpipes are offered in stainless steel. This is basically the same setup as the one for the 1M MotoGP Safety Car. For the real fanatic! The tailpipe set (carbon) is necessary for assembly. With the optional Akrapovic Sound Kit you can regulate the sound. Add the finishing touch to the look with a set of four exquisite titanium or carbon tailpipes. ECU remapping is mandatory when installing the optional Akrapovic aftermarket downpipes with sport catalytic converter, which are for closed-course use only. When installing an Akrapovic aftermarket downpipe designed for closed track use, ECU remapping is recommended to prevent the possible engine warning light from coming on. The Evolution Line is suitable for the 2011 - 2012 model years.
