Trailer hitch

Description

This trailer hitch has been specially developed for vehicles with a specific purpose. Unlike electrically swiveling trailer hitches or full-featured trailer hitches with a removable ball head, it is designed for lower loads. To use it, the ball bar is inserted from below (vertically) into the mounting tube. The operating principle relies on three balls that hold the ball bar securely in the mounting tube. This ensures absolute safety combined with the simplest operation and maximum convenience. The ball bar is also secured against theft by a lock. -Significant cost savings compared to other solutions (electrically swiveling or full-featured trailer hitches). -Specially designed for a towing capacity of up to 750 kg or for bike racks. -Flexible: Detachable trailer hitches are ideal for occasional use, such as transporting a bike rack or towing a trailer. -Theft protection provided by the lockable ball head. -When the ball head is removed, the trailer hitch is not visible. -Easy and convenient operation. -Programming and coding according to BMW standards (e.g., automatic deactivation of Park Distance Control and Lane Change Assistant, or addition of yaw control logic). Note: -The trailer hitch control unit (AAG) is not included in the kit and must be ordered separately. -Depending on the engine configuration, various components may need to be replaced. -After installation, the retrofit kit must be added to the vehicle order via coding. -Please keep the ball head clean at all times and grease it occasionally. Only available in combination with the sticker (750 kg).
