BMW Motorrad has long been working on solutions for the best possible communication on the bike and presents the latest BMW Motorrad communication system. This opens up many new connections: Talking to each other, making phone calls, listening to your favorite music and staying perfectly on course via the connection with the BMW Motorrad Navigator - that's what a contemporary communication system has to do today. And all this without having to take your eyes off the road. You will experience it for yourself: The BMW Motorrad communication system takes riding enjoyment and safety to a new dimension. The BMW Motorrad communication system is mechanically tailored specifically to the BMW Motorrad System Helmet 6. The control module with the three operating buttons is shaped in such a way that it adapts perfectly to the contour of the new BMW Motorrad helmet. Like the helmet shell, it is available in two sizes. Naturally, all other components such as the microphone holder and strain relief also correspond to the geometry of the BMW Motorrad System Helmet 6, so that the new communication system can be installed simply and easily. The system is powered by NiMH rechargeable batteries, which provide a continuous operating time of ten to twelve hours. The BMW Motorrad communication system is primarily designed for communication between rider and passenger. Nevertheless, conversation from motorcycle to motorcycle is possible with certain restrictions. Depending on the riding situation, the system can bridge a distance of between 30 and 100 meters with a direct line of sight. This is quite sufficient in many riding situations. However, this function depends on the ambient conditions. The battery is not included in the scope of delivery. The system is suitable for helmet sizes 60/61 and above.
