Description

The system was developed using a BMW M2 Competition equipped with OPF / GPF, but can be used for both versions (OPF and non-OPF). The Evolution Link Pipe Set extends the Slip-On System to the Evolution System, which consists of a rear slip-on silencer and larger Evolution Link Pipe Tubes with a center silencer. Everything has been developed so that the performance and finish of the complete system is as perfect as its appearance. It is made entirely of titanium. The entire system is designed to provide the best possible exhaust gas flow. Increases in power and torque of the M2 Competition are guaranteed through the use of the Slip-On Line System and the Evolution Link Pipe Set. Sophisticated engineering has produced a unique sound profile that differs significantly from the standard system and delivers a deep and sporty sound without unwanted overtones or drone frequencies, close to that of racing. In addition, the sound changes significantly when the flaps are open or closed. A control unit for an optimal balance between sportiness and comfort is included and controls the flaps with a receiver and the Sound Remote unit (or the smartphone app). After installing the Akrapovič Evolution Link Pipe Set, reprogramming of the ECU is required to prevent possible warning signals from the check engine light. The Slip-On Line (titanium) is required for installation. The downpipe (SS) can be added as an option. The Evolution Link Pipe Set (SS) is suitable for model years 2018 - 2020.
