The BMW Short Shift Kit enables short and precise shifting. This makes the driving experience more direct and intense. A new sports shift lever is used instead of the standard shift linkage. In conjunction with the new shift knob, a shift travel reduction of approx. 25% is achieved. Die Lieferung ging schnell und die Verkürzung lässt sich je nach Geschick selbst in ca. 1h einbauen (es gibt ausreichend Anleitungen in div. BMW Foren). Nach dem Einbau ist der Schaltarm optisch sehr kurz, das Schalten erfordert geringfügig mehr Kraftaufwand geht aber deutlich schneller. Komforteinbußen muss man in Kauf nehmen, aber für den sportlichen Fahrer ein MUSS!
