The BMW WaterBlade is a windshield wiper with new, innovative wiper technology. The cleaning fluid is applied directly to the windshield via nozzles in the wiper blades. This effective cleaning system increases cleaning performance, reduces visibility-impeding spray mist and also saves washer fluid. The BMW WaterBlade is a flat bar wiper blade with an integrated cleaning system. -The optimized cleaning performance of the BMW WaterBlade is effective at all speeds. -The BMW WaterBlade guarantees precise application of the cleaning fluid over the entire length of the wiper blades. -The direct application of the cleaning fluid to the windshield results in less visibility-impeding spray mist and virtually no foaming. -The BMW WaterBlade reduces the amount of windshield cleaning fluid required. -Retrofitting is quick and uncomplicated. When changing the wiper blade, the BMW WaterBlade can be retrofitted for a small additional charge. -The product has been tested by TÜV Süd and has vehicle homologation.

The G11/G12, G30/G31 models are fitted with a dry arm system as standard (spray nozzles under the hood). To convert to a wet arm system (spray nozzles in the windshield wiper arm), the BMW WaterBlade Kit, which contains all the necessary hose lines, holders, hose connectors etc., is required once. The BMW WaterBlade wiper blades are also required. When worn, only the BMW WaterBlade wiper blades are replaced.
