Get in, insert, start: In just one movement, the personal communication & entertainment program from the cell phone can be experienced in the vehicle. In addition to fast charging of the cell phone, the snap-in adapter ensures safe and stable storage. Inductive coupling of the external antenna ensures optimum network reception - even in areas with poor network coverage. -The snap-in adapter offers a particularly fast, optimized charging function. When the cell phone is inserted in the snap-in adapter, it is charged twice as fast compared to the USB socket. -Safe storage: The snap-in adapter is a safe and stable storage system for the cell phone in the vehicle. -Good connections: The snap-in adapter connects the cell phone to the vehicle's external antenna - ensuring the best possible network reception especially in areas with poor network coverage. -The connection to the external antenna reduces radiation inside the vehicle. Additional benefits for the Music/Media and Connect variants: -Personal entertainment program on board: A USB interface is integrated in the snap-in adapter. The stored music tracks can thus be conveniently operated and played via the music player (depending on the vehicle equipment). Playback takes place via the vehicle loudspeaker system. -The vehicle display can show the album cover of the music track currently being played (depending on vehicle equipment and year of manufacture). This allows songs to be immediately assigned to an album or artist ("cover art"). -With the free BMW app, interesting additional functions such as web radio, Last Mile, Facebook and Twitter access can be used in the vehicle. This app is available through the Apple App Store. The use of the app in vehicles depends on the year of manufacture and equipment. Vehicles with SA 6NF require the SA 6NR app, while vehicles with SA 6NS require the SA 6AK "BMW Connected App." -The chrome-look buttons give the snap-in adapter a high-quality look.
