Description

The M Performance aerodynamic and exterior components for the 1 Series Sedan (F70) emphasize the sporty appearance of the vehicle. A new carbon structure is offered for the first time, which emphasizes the modern lines of the vehicle. -The M Performance aerodynamic and exterior components are technically perfectly matched. -The M Performance components enhance the sporty handling. -The aerodynamics of the individual M Performance components have been matched to the vehicle as a whole in the wind tunnel and confirmed in road tests. -Shape and design have been specially developed for the BMW 1 Series (F70), 2 Series (F74), 2 Series China (F78). -High fitting accuracy and a high-quality appearance enhance the standard vehicle. -The carbon parts are manufactured by hand in an elaborate process. -All Original M Performance aerodynamic and exterior components have been tested and approved in accordance with the strict BMW Group quality guidelines. -Only original BMW accessories guarantee a perfect fit. -All aerodynamic and exterior components have already been homologated with the complete vehicle, a separate TÜV registration is not necessary. -Only Original BMW Accessories protect against loss of warranty in the event of damage. Necessary additional parts: - Side skirts: Sticker set 51 14 2 461 811 (not in conjunction with Frozen Black foiling - 51 14 2 465 580) -Front attachment/rear spoiler: Installation conditions between front attachment and rear spoiler. Material: -CFK -Antenna cover made of aramid -PUR components: Polyurethane black high-gloss polished Carbon rear diffuser: -When installing the carbon rear diffuser on vehicles with comfort access (SA 322), the Smart Opener sub-function can no longer be used. -The carbon rear diffuser cannot be installed with a trailer hitch (AHV) on the vehicle. Sill inserts: The sill inserts are installed with the M Performance sticker set, unless Frozen Black foiling is applied. The M Performance sticker on the sill is omitted if installed at the same time as the foiling. Roof edge spoiler: When installing the roof edge spoiler, it is possible that in some cases the automatic tailgate may not open fully on its own and may require a little manual assistance. Notes: -The described components are only suitable for the F70, F74 and F78 with M sports package or the roof edge spoiler with M sports package Pro. Exception: The carbon exterior mirror caps can be used for both MPA models and non-MPA models with the SA S9T1A (M Sport exterior surrounds). For non-MPA models, the mirror frame must be replaced with that of the MPA model. -After attaching the surrounds with the aid of liquid adhesive, the curing times of the adhesives used must be observed. As a rule, the vehicle must not be moved for 24 hours and is only suitable for washing after 48 hours. Safety instructions: -When fitting the high-gloss black front attachment, the installation of the high-gloss black roof edge spoiler is mandatory. -If the high-gloss black roof edge spoiler is fitted, the installation of the high-gloss black front attachment is mandatory. -For vehicles with the M aerodynamics package, the installation of the front bumper lip is also mandatory.
