In today's harsh environment, vehicle paintwork is exposed to a range of environmental influences - from tree sap to UV rays and cleaning agents to acid rain. Regular surface exposure means that the vehicle needs extra protection to maintain its presentable and well-maintained appearance. The original BMW Ceramic Coating Set is a 2-step system. It provides the paintwork with long-term protection against soiling and damage caused by environmental factors and at the same time ensures a spectacular, high-gloss finish. The two products in this set may only be used in conjunction with each other: -Ceramic Coating Preparation: pre-cleaning - cleans and prepares the paintwork -Ceramic Coating Protection: ceramic coating - bonds to the surface of the paint with advanced polysilazanes Commercially available cleaning chemicals gradually remove a hard wax coating. In contrast, the original BMW Ceramic Coating System offers long-term protection without the need for additional after-treatment.
