Description

The flagship Akrapovič exhaust system, used and tested by the top factory teams in motorsport. It is simply the best exhaust system on the market. Each model is unique and is designed to maximize engine performance while reducing overall weight for optimized handling of the entire motorcycle. It is made entirely of titanium. The unique shape of the muffler with its embossed imprint that extends along the exhaust and blends seamlessly into the handcrafted carbon fiber end cap sets new standards in design. For perfect performance, throttle response and durability, remapping the ECU is recommended. The product picture shows the system together with the optional carbon heat shield P-HSB10E3 (not included). The carbon fiber silencer bracket (required for installation if the passenger footrest has been removed) is already included in the system. Installation note for the US market: The exhaust system fits the US model 2020 S 1000 RR. For 2019 US models, see products listed under model year 2018. This product can be fitted to the BMW M 1000 RR model 2020. The system is suitable for vehicles built in 2019 - 2021 (S 1000 RR) and 2020 (M 1000 RR).
