In addition to the functions of a micro/activated charcoal filter, the Original BMW Fine Dust Filter filters the smallest particles such as bacteria, allergens and fine dust in the vehicle interior to a minimum. The latest filter technology is now available worldwide as an upgrade product (depending on model). -The feel-good climate in the interior is improved. -The filter offers even more protection for your health. -The upgrade product enables a significant increase in driving safety for allergy sufferers. -The fine dust filter was developed in accordance with the strict BMW safety and quality guidelines for the vehicle-specific heating/air conditioning system. -The filter performance and sufficient air volume are ensured for as long as possible in low-noise operation. -High accuracy of fit to prevent leaks (unfiltered air flow). Functionality: -Filtration of allergens and bacteria up to a size of 0.3 μm. -99.5% filter performance depending on the particle size. -Up to 70% filter performance for very small particles ≤ 2.5 μm (PM2.5). -The high filter performance (mechanical and electrostatic) is based on a special fine dust fleece. The values apply to test bench measurements with standardized test dusts and filters in new condition.
