Adapter Cable Kit USB Type C

Description

The vehicle's integrated USB Type C interface allows a wide range of mobile audio sources, such as MP3 players, Apple iPod/iPhone or smartphones, to be played directly via the in-vehicle audio system. BMW Accessories offers the appropriate adapter cable for this purpose. This adapter cable enables charging of the device and playback of the music tracks stored in the device as well as operation via iDrive controller, multifunction steering wheel or radio. It also enables track searches by artist, album, playlist or genre on the on-board monitor or radio display. The adapter cable kit contains the three most popular adapter cables, each in a length of 1.80 meters (6 ft): -1 x adapter cable for Apple iPhone/iPod (Lightning). -1 x adapter cable for Micro-USB -1 x adapter cable for USB Type C Depending on the vehicle model, equipment and year of construction, cover art can be displayed or videos can be played on the on-board display. -Up to date: Also for vehicles with the new USB Type C socket there is the matching adapter cable kit. -The robust design (special bend protection and Kevlar reinforcement) and the special length make the adapter cables particularly suitable for use in the vehicle. -perfectly matched to BMW: The electrical properties of the cables have been optimized for the different BMW radios. -The connected device is charged during operation -the cables are provided with a BMW logo and thus recognizable as an original part -the USB adapters can also be used in vehicles of other manufacturers and also outside the vehicle, e.g. on a PC, laptop or USB socket adapter Technical data: -all adapter cables for Apple have been specified in accordance with Apple's "Made for iPhone/iPod (MFI)" guidelines, thus ensuring perfect interaction between the connected Apple device and the vehicle -the electrical properties of the cable have been improved again, the characteristic impedance has been optimized
