It is a passive GPS tracker that has its own power supply via a battery with a 4-year service life. You have access to the vehicle via the MINI Security app. The product includes a Service Center subscription of 4 years (passive), which supports you with vehicle recovery in the event of vehicle theft. In some markets, new vehicle registrations are made more difficult due to high insurance fees (due to increased crime for vehicle theft): Certified vehicle tracking systems provide a remedy. The MINI Security System is certified and recognized by various insurance companies. It consists of a vehicle tracking system which is concealed in the vehicle.
