Description

The JOHN COOPER WORKS tuning kit for the MINI Hatch Cooper S (F56) and the MINI Convertible COOPER S (F57) with JOHN COOPER WORKS flap silencer system (Bluetooth 4.0 control) offers two possible operating modes, "Sport mode" and "Track mode", both of which acoustically emphasize the sporty character of the vehicle. The "Sport mode" can be used without restriction for operation on public roads. Track mode" is intended for use on the racetrack. In conjunction with a performance-optimized engine data level, the JCW flap silencer system offers maximum emotionality, volume and sound for a more intense driving experience. -The JCW tuning kit provides the right engine and exhaust system sound and thus intensifies the sporty MINI sound characteristics. -Reduced exhaust back pressure in conjunction with the adapted engine data level ensures excellent response. -The flap silencer system offers a choice of two modes. Track mode or Sport mode -Track mode: Maximum emotional sound, very sporty, very loud. For maximum performance on the racetrack. -Sport mode: Significantly sportier and more emotional than the standard vehicle, but with a recognizable residual comfort for uncompromising everyday use. -The silencer system is made of high-quality stainless steel. For outstanding quality and durability. -Perfect look: The tuning kit is optionally available in conjunction with JCW chrome or carbon trims. -Perfect fit: As an original MINI accessory, the tuning kit is perfectly matched to the vehicle. -The JOHN COOPER WORKS tuning kit increases the output of the standard engine to 155 kW. -The maximum torque of 300 Nm is permanently available between 1,350 rpm and 4,600 rpm with the tuning kit. -Same consumption despite higher power: The fuel consumption and emission values in the ECE driving cycle correspond to the standard engine despite the higher power. Functionality: -The flap silencers have two operating modes. The two modes are activated/deactivated with a simple double-click on the radio remote control (Bluetooth 4.0). -The selected mode is displayed on an LED indicator on the remote control. -Accidental activation of "Track mode" is impossible. "Sport mode" is always activated when the engine is started. -Track mode: Maximum emotional sound, very sporty. Only suitable for use on race tracks. -Sport mode: Sporty sound, for operation on public roads (no further approval documents are required for this). Technical information: -The conversion and data programming can only be carried out by the MINI partner. -Installation is carried out in accordance with the installation instructions. -All legal requirements are fulfilled. Notes: -No further approval documents are required for the "Sport mode". The silencer is approved for use on public roads. -When using the "Track mode" on public roads, the approval according to StVZO expires. -MINI recommends the installation of the thermally more powerful and larger 17" JCW brake system for a particularly sporty driving style. -The vehicle must be recoded. -Only in conjunction with JCW tailpipe trim chrome or carbon and mounting of receiver unit (JCW). -Not suitable for vehicles with the special equipment rear luggage rack preparation (SA 3AR). -For registration and warranty reasons, the JOHN COOPER WORKS tuning kit can only be installed as a complete kit. Components from the tuning kit may not be installed individually. -The vehicle insurance company must be informed of the increase in performance of the vehicle.
