This hi-fi system from ALPINE Electronics, developed exclusively for BMW, offers a significant increase in audio performance and provides a detailed sound image. All components have been specially designed according to the acoustic conditions of the individual vehicles. The new, highly efficient hybrid 6-channel DSP amplifier combines the advantages of highly efficient Class D and the freedom from distortion of Class AB circuit technology with an output of 420 watts. The 3-way speaker system includes improved mid-range drivers and two powerful tweeters with aluminum cones, which are also installed in the upper section of the front doors. Two channels control the high-quality loudspeaker system in the front area, while two further channels control the two central bass loudspeakers under the front seats. In addition, two further channels give the two loudspeakers in the rear more performance and round off the sound image perfectly. Further accessories are required. These items are not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately if required. -Improved sound quality: thanks to the Neodyne tweeters and the aluminum cone mid-range speakers, voices and instruments are reproduced with clear definition. -The driving experience becomes a stage in the vehicle: thanks to time alignment of the individual channels, a natural sound image is created that reproduces instruments and different music genres as they would sound on stage (staging). -Dynamic bass: The increased amplifier power means that the bass range gains significantly in precision and sound pressure. An improvement you can feel. -Sound experience for all passengers: the control of the rear speakers in conjunction with DSP equalizing ensures brilliant sound in the rear seats. -Perfectly integrated into the vehicle and adapted to the respective vehicle type in terms of sound technology: The sound volume has been perfectly matched to the position of the respective speakers in the vehicle. Eye-catching: The chrome-plated ALPINE logo on the loudspeaker grilles of the tweeters already gives an idea of the sound quality behind them. -The latest amplifier technology gives the system even more power - even though the amplifier is much more compact than the previous model. This makes it easy to retrofit with little effort. -Easy installation: The new installation location of the HiFi system behind the glove compartment (instead of in the trunk) makes installation easier. Time-consuming routing of cables through the entire vehicle is now a thing of the past. -The BMW HiFi System ALPINE amplifies music from the radio, CD, MP3, iPod and iPhone as well as the navigation system announcement and all sound signals in the vehicle. -The wiring harness is fully pluggable. The cables are routed exclusively in the area of the instrument panel and the door trim.
