All X5 (F15) vehicles delivered ex works with 18" or 19" tires must be retrofitted with the 20" SA wheel arch trims when retrofitting 21" tires in order to comply with the wheel cover according to EG-BE. Special flaps must also be fitted. -Lightweight: Thanks to a special manufacturing process, the light alloy wheel with rolled rim bed (flow forming) is approx. 1.5 kg lighter than a cast wheel with comparable styling and the same dimensions. The visible sides have a high-sheen finish. -Glossy protection: The entire wheel is coated with high-quality clear lacquer, which gives it a glossy finish and protects against corrosion. -The low weight of the wheels (unsprung mass) improves the steering behavior and ensures better driving dynamics. -Safety is a top priority: The tires have run-flat characteristics (RSC), so that a certain remaining distance can still be driven even if pressure is lost. -This 21" wheel/tyre combination is suitable for individualizing the vehicle, as this styling and wheel size cannot be configured as optional equipment ex works. The following points must be observed due to the extreme tire width and the low tire cross-section: -Higher rolling noise and general loss of comfort must be expected. -The 21" tires are not suitable for off-road use. -Certain car washes may no longer be accessible. -It may no longer be possible to use motorail trains.
