The Evolution Link Pipe Set (titanium) was developed and tested together with the Slip-On Line (titanium). The complete titanium accessory kit consists of complex parts cast in Akrapovic's in-house foundry and is made from lightweight, high-quality alloys to reduce weight. The combination of the titanium Evolution Link Pipe Set with the titanium Slip-On Line exhaust system creates a complete system that is perfectly matched to deliver the best sound experience in all riding modes. Akrapovic's sound engineers have worked hard to create a sporty V8 sound with an unmistakable Akrapovic character that remains smooth and eliminates any drone, all designed to maximize everyday comfort. The sound is similar to that of a muscle car and offers an intoxicating sound. With a cast collector in the Link Pipe, where the gases from both sides of the engine mix, the Link Pipe Set ensures a smooth gas flow and contributes to the perfect sound as an ideal upgrade for the titanium Slip-On Line system With the installation of this optional accessory, the ECE type approval of the Slip-On Line exhaust system made of titanium is no longer valid; reprogramming of the control unit is mandatory with this installation After installation of the Akrapovic Evolution Link Pipe Set, reprogramming of the ECU is required to prevent possible warning signals from the check engine light. The Evolution Link Pipe Set (SS) is suitable for model year 2020.
