The S4007 brake pad is derived from a proven long-distance racing pad used in motorsport. It was specially developed with increased thermal performance in mind and meets the requirements of ECE-R 13H (legal requirement in many countries). The following significantly different properties compared to the standard brake pad must be observed: The design of the brake force distribution is racing-oriented. This supports dynamic steering on the brakes and differs significantly from the standard configuration. Increased stress on the brake disks: Due to the modified friction mechanisms, the brake disk wears faster. It is therefore recommended that the brake disc is also replaced when this brake pad is fitted. It is essential to replace the brake disk if there are cracks of 13 mm or more, even before the brake pad wears out. -Shorter braking distance. -Better brake response. -Higher thermal load capacity.
