It is often the small changes that have a big effect. The BMW chrome lamps give the blinker a uniform, high-quality chrome look - without any "mirror effect". Primarily suitable for vehicles where the amber indicator lamps are particularly noticeable. -Elegant appearance: The BMW chrome lamps make the side indicators (WY5W) or the indicators in the rear lights and headlights (PY21W) appear perfectly silvery/chrome-colored when switched off. Small change with a big effect: the indicator reflector is completely chrome-plated or white. This gives the entire headlight a completely different look, without you being able to name the change straight away. -The lamps blend harmoniously into the reflectors of the direction indicators without a yellow spot being visible in the blinker. The "mirror effect" is completely eliminated. -High luminosity: When switched on, the blinker lights up in the usual and prescribed orange-yellow light. -Can also be used for MINI: The BMW chrome lamps can be used in the MINI side blinker (WY5W) as well as in the MINI rear and front lights (PY21W) (from model year 2006). Through-colored amber glass ensures lifelong amber light - in contrast to only amber-coated bulbs, where the amber coating can flake off. - Compared to competitor products, the BMW PY21W chrome bulb has no blue shimmer. Functionality: -The yellow-colored glass bulbs of the bulbs are coated silver with a layer of HTC coating (High T° coating). -The manufacturing process is called PiCVD = plasma im-pulse chemical vapor deposition. -The BMW PY21W chrome bulbs can be used in transparent headlight systems and rear lights and produce an orange light signal when the blinker is activated. -When the blinker is switched off, it takes on the color of the headlight reflector, giving the vehicle an individual style.
