The JOHN COOPER WORKS PRO sports suspension for the new MINI Cooper Hatch 3-door offers maximum driving dynamics for the MINI enthusiast. The JCW PRO sports suspension significantly improves the vehicle's road holding and is aimed at drivers who are looking for a highly engaging driving experience. It makes the driving dynamics even more tangible, even more immediate. The JCW sports suspension is a "coilover suspension", i.e. height-adjustable. This allows the already low center of gravity of the vehicle to be optimally adapted to the respective track characteristics. The height adjustment offers an adjustment range of between 10-30 mm. The height adjustments can be made using a special adjustment key, which is included in the scope of delivery. It offers pre-set damping settings, enabling race-inspired driving dynamics for everyday road use. It also improves vehicle stability and handling. The suspension has been tuned for both racetrack and road use. The aim is to achieve the typical MINI go-kart-like driving dynamics. The suspension was developed in close cooperation between BMW AG and KW Automotive GmbH, one of the leading manufacturers of premium suspensions. Initial suspension settings are included in the assembly instructions. Functionality: -The factory settings for the vehicle height are the same for all model variants. The height is calculated using the respective vehicle weight. -For the best driving dynamics, the vehicle can be optionally equipped with stabilizers from the sports suspension. These are not included in the JWC PRO sports suspension package. -The JCW PRO sports suspension was tested in conjunction with the JCW PRO brakes and accessory wheels. -The installation of the JCW PRO sports suspension is currently not possible in conjunction with Electronic Damper Control (SA 223).
