Slip-On Line

Description

Made from lightweight, high-quality titanium and with handmade carbon tailpipes, this system offers a noticeable weight saving, more power and torque and a dramatic sound. The system delivers a weight reduction of 11.89 kg compared to the standard system, an incredible 33% difference. Power and torque increase by 3.4 kW (4.6 hp) at 2,650 rpm and 12.4 Nm at 2,650 rpm, as measured on the Akrapovič dyno compared to a BMW M440i with a standard exhaust system. The use of special parts integrated into the system ensures an intoxicating sound. Two valves instead of one, as in the standard configuration, are calibrated to adjust the sound and two acoustic reflectors are fitted to the tailpipes to direct the sound into the vehicle's interior and transform the driving experience to create an absolutely immersive sound in the cockpit of the vehicle, providing thrills and pleasure for the occupants. As the Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system has two valves, one more than the stock system, a TNG controller is included in the product to control the additional exhaust valve. Two resonators, one on each side of the central silencer, perfect the sound experience. The soft, rich sound during normal driving increases to a deep and sporty sound during more enthusiastic driving. The sound can also be controlled from the cockpit when the optional Akrapovič Sound Kit is added. Special parts are cast in Akrapovič's in-house foundry to produce the intricate and complex components required for this system. For those who wish to upgrade the Slip-On Line exhaust system (Titanium), an optional Link Pipe Set is available. The Slip-On Line is suitable for model year 2020.
